Hello girls!!!! I decided to write about this topic because in our group we are only women and I think that we love to talk about that kind of topics because like women we are more spiritual.
I’m going to begin writing with this question: What is beauty?
Well, in my opinion, human beings only see the outer beauty and we have created some parameters to determine whether a person is beautiful or not. According to this idea we can say that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”

The meaning of beauty depends on the culture, and of course our culture is not the exception. We have some rules or parameters that determine if a person is beautiful or not.
For example, a woman should be slimmer, with fuller lips and with a smaller nose, or men should be with large shoulders and a narrow waist.
But, Is that the true beauty?
I consider that your soul is the essence of who you really are, because if you are a good person with good feelings and you express them to other people, your within beauty makes your outer beauty; because your actions and behavior indicate the kind of person that you are. Those features can dictate if a person is beautiful or not because it makes you look friendlier and more attractive to others. For those reasons I think that true beauty comes from within.

But, on the other hand some people say that the only one who can see the true beauty is God, because only God can see into our hearts. However humans must try to see the true beauty, because if we really love someone we should not only love his or her physical appearance, for example, a person sometimes can be slimmer, handsome or beautiful but with bad feelings.

Therefore, God placed the chief beauty within you, in your soul, regardless of your personal appearance you are beautiful in the eyes of God. Remember that: True beauty is not worn it cannot be put or taken off. Don’t forget that: “WE ARE BODY, MIND AND SOUL! WE ARE CREATED IN HIS IMAGE!!!...
Well, like a conclusion about the topic here we have a paragraph taken from the bible to reflect:

“For you created my inner most being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well . My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. ALL the days for me were ordained... ” salm 139.

Well classmates, I hope this issue has made us think because would be beautiful can see the true beauty of people, because when we see the true beauty of the others we can see the beauty of God.

  2. Hi Isabel!

I totally agree with you Isabel because true beauty is taken inside, but many people neglect it because they care more about their physical appearance. Although they buy expensive clothes or modify their body in order to “look good on outside”, they know very well that their within needs a primary care because its inner beauty cannot be bought.

Well Isabel, at the end of the day, your blog has made us reflect on the true beauty, and it invites us to keep a balance between both. But we should spend more time exercising our spirit, and not waste time in vanities.

    Take care Isabel!

  3. Isabel, allow me to tell you that I really like the topic you've chosen to write about. Beauty is very interesting because it has different meanings and representation depeding on the culture and society from which it's seen. Unfortunately in ours the concept of beauty has been dramatically influenced by pretty much the northen countries, as well Europe. Where beauty strikes strongly to others on their eyes through physical appeareance. Fashion, how women looks, and men also...those countries really have a huge impact in ours. I think that men should not seek accompanion only with skinny girls, even if she has a horrible personality, and viceversa. I usually like taller boys, I do not really care if they are chovy or skinny, what really maters to me, is that they should be nice and like me for whom I am, they must love to smell good, take often showers and brush teeths.... I really really really dislike a boy who does not take care of his teeth. that is like PRIORITY NUMBER 1 FOR ME IN ORDER TO LIKE ONE MAN. Oh well...Bottom line..... it is very interesting to read your blog and just to have a few minutes to meditate about this such an controversial topic. Thank you so very much!.
    Best Regards.

  4. Dear Isabel,

as some your classmates have been pointing out, beauty has been misunderstood in our country. If a girl wears the coolest clothes and her hair is always well combed, men will definitely fall in love with them. Aspects related to personality and moral values are usually left out when one will choose a couple. Inner beauty will be reflected on our appearance. When there is peace of mind and self acceptance, our appearance will be obviously impacted.
However, people must be educated to go beyond the shell.

    Cordially

  5. I really love this topic because it gives you a clearless answer..

I consider that we cannot judge someone acording to what we believe beauty is...because as you said before beauty is something that you cannot determinate, for that reason you can't say that something or someone is ugly because you are not the only viewer that is looking or appreciating something....because there's a difference between this two terms..!!

So, I must say "Beauty is in eye of the beholder"

  6. Hi my dear and beautiful friends, I´m in total agreement with you...beauty can´t be consider as the most important fact in a person.when we know that sometimes a beautiful face doesn´t mean that the person is friendly or easy going....What is really important is the way the person acts, and his or her feelings about you as a friend...We know that when a person is sincere you can feel the same in your heart and you are able to react in the same way...It doesn´t matter if a person is not a "good looking", remember that the society is trying all the time to tell us what is beauty and what is ugly...but we don´t have to follow their rules....our heart is gonna tell us who is beauty to us according to the chemistry that we have with the rest of the people and the feelings that we have in our heart too....also I´m so sure about one thing: Depending on your "Self confidence" and how neat and clean you look are some tips that will give you the opportunity to show yourself as a beautiful person...So don´t forget to take a shower every day and some splash will help us to break a lot of hearts!!!!
    Love u my beautiful dears!!!!

  7. HELLO ISABEL, AND DEAR CLASSMATES!!!
I REALLY LIKE YOUR TOPIC!! SOMETIMES WE FORGET THAT IMPORTANT PART IN OUR LIFE, BECAUSE IN SOME CASES WE CARE MORE ABOUT OUR EXTERNAL BEAUTY AND WE FORGET OUR INNER BEAUTY WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT AND NEVER ENDS... I THINK THAT THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BEAUTY DEPEND ON THE EDUCATION THE WE RECEIVE AND THE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH WE GROW. IS A PITY THAT MANY PEOPLE ONLY SEE THE EXTERNAL BEAUTY BUT THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS IN ANY HUMAN BEING. SO, I AGREE WITH YOU ISABEL!! AND I REALLY LIKE THIS TOPIC!!!

    MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!
